My paintings are rooted in my search for joy, energy, and beauty amid the noise of everyday life. Working intuitively, I use color, gesture, and layered mark-making to explore the tension between chaos and calm—a reflection of my experience navigating a mind that is always moving. Abstract painting provides both refuge and release, transforming restless energy into something tangible, expressive, and deeply personal.
About Nichole
A lifelong creative, I have been making art in one form or another since childhood. While my artistic journey followed a nontraditional path, art and creativity have always remained at the center of my life. For many years I created colorful lampwork glass beads and artisan jewelry. After painting casually for several years, in 2024 I fully embraced abstract painting, creating vibrant, expressive works influenced by the energy and emotional immediacy of the Abstract Expressionist tradition.
